C-SPEED's Project Integra was purchased brand new in February 1999 from Lynnwood Acura, Washington. It had a mere 9 miles on the odometer when it was carefully driven off the lot and made its 60 mile trek north back home to Bellingham, WA. Soon after its initial break-in period, its transformation began. Plans were laid out for the new B18C1 motor to join the darkside. Over the next few months of planning and research, turbo components were slowly assembled and set aside. Its best time at the track was 15.01@94mph during its final NA stages of life.

Bad luck struck in late August as the Project Integra was involved in a 3 car collision. The front end was destroyed with only a mere 12,000 miles on the odo. Quick decisions were made and wheels started turning as a brand new OEM JDM spec front end was now on its way from overseas.

December 1999, the transformation to the darkside was completed. Running with a stock bottom end at 6psi - 13.5@104mph passes were tracked, however also short lived. March 2000 with only 18,000 miles on the motor, the engine gave up. With cracked ring lands, the motor was torn apart and complete rebuilt with new internals.

Project Integra ran strong as the 2001 season took off, besting a 12.59@112.40mph at Mission Raceway, BC Canada. Finally, achieving 12's on the daily driven vehicle, our goal was accomplished however shortlived. As the season went on, the built motor finally gave up and ended up being a total loss.

A new game plan was created for our Integra and the choice was made to go NA. Along with this decision, the choice in powerplants was obvious - B20/VTEC. Project Integra sat out the remaining of the 2001 season unfortunately, but was able to make a preliminary run at Mission Raceway just as the season was ending. After just getting broken in and fresh off the dyno, running street tires and stock intake/filter, it managed to make a powerful run breaking 13's on its first pass. By the end of the night with no further tuning, it netted a 13.44@105.44mph with more to go. Unfortunately, further testing and results now have to wait until the dawn of the 2002 race season.
